Finishes

Versatile Finishes to Complement Any Style

At Faux Iron Direct, we use only the highest quality sustainable materials. Each panel substrate used was carefully selected and tested for its ability to be designed, cut, and finished to our quality benchmarks. Substrates are also chosen based on their natural textures and how well they complement specific design styles.

Our finish colors are selected, mixed, and artistically applied, to replicate material characteristics that complement a wide range of design styles. We only use water-based, low-VOC paints, stains, and finishes to help protect your health and the environment

faux Iron

Low-VOC paints are applied to the surface and rough-cut sides in a proprietary process perfected to mimic the look of various wrought iron or cast-iron finishes. Custom finish colors are not available for Tableaux Faux Iron.

For a fraction of the cost and weight of real iron, Faux Iron blends old-world charm with modern versatility. Fashioned from eco-friendly, moisture resistant MDF, these panels are ideal for enhancing design themes ranging from classic elegance to industrial chic.

The versatility of Tableaux Elements also enables you to choose from an almost unlimited number of custom finish colors to match any décor.

Perfect for contemporary, modern, or industrial styles, Elements combines the aesthetic appeal of steel with the practicality of Class A fire-rated MDF.

Veneer

Low-VOC stains are applied in a proprietary process perfected to mimic the look of aged/restored wood, or to enhance the beauty of the natural woodgrain. The walnut veneer is harvested from real trees. Since every tree is different, every board of veneer will have varying color and grain pattern variations which will influence the final finish color. Custom finish colors are not available for Tableaux Veneer.

Crafted from sustainable MDF material, each panel features meticulously adhered thin-sliced walnut or white oak for a natural aesthetic. Ideal for biophilic designs, Veneer seamlessly blend indoor spaces with warmth and charm.
